Himja Upadhyay

Registered Physiotherapist

HIMJA has achieved a wide spectrum of qualifications and experience related to the physiotherapy profession. She believes in a patient-centred approach, and has developed clinical expertise in Orthopedic, Pelvic as well as Vestibular Physiotherapy. Himja has taken more than 35 courses to mention related to Orthopedic, Vestibular, Pelvic, Acupuncture and Physiotherapy. She has mentored Resident physiotherapists and Physiotherapy students and enjoys the teaching and mentorship opportunities of her profession. She believes in continuous learning process and self-upgradation.

Himja has had over 13 years of experience in the field and has successfully treated numerous Lower Back Injuries, Arthritis, Sciatica, Repetitive strain injuries, Pelvic Conditions, Vertigo and Dizziness, Vestibular Problems, Concussions, Motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, sports injuries, neuromusculoskeletal injuries, etc. She uses a combination of manual therapy techniques, Spinal Traction, acupuncture techniques, dry needling, taping, cupping, Acupressure, Gua Sha, electrotherapy equipment’s, Shockwave therapy condition specific exercise prescription, etc., to provide an individualized program to achieve goals.

She has vast experience with injury prevention, return to work programs and ergonomics, and disability management settings with insurers. On a Personal Note: she loves travelling to new places with her family. She loves to participate in active lifestyle and promoting healthy habits.

Dr. David Nguyen

Doctor Of Chiropractic

Dr. Nguyen is a graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He also has a Kinesiology background from the University of Guelph-Humber, and a Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma from Conestoga College.

Favoring active listening, he focuses his treatment plans according to the patient’s specific goals utilizing patient education, rehab, joint manipulation/mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, and cupping. He aims to provide patient guidance towards how they want to move and feel without pain interfering with activities of daily living and training. 

Dr.Nguyen has helped numerous client’s with Spine and Back problems, Neck problems, Headaches, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Whiplash, WorkPlace Injuries, and the list goes on.

A purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and being a fitness enthusiast gives Dr. Nguyen the unique perspective of closely understanding the physical demands of individuals in martial arts, combat sports, and lifting in the gym. He is a strong believer that movement is medicine and utilizes strength and conditioning principles as part of his tool-box to maximize functional outcomes and performance.

Parth Parekh

Physiotherapist Resident

Parth is a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist resident who helps individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical well-being. His mission is to empower the patients to regain their strength, mobility, and independence, enabling them to lead active and fulfilling lives. He has worked with clients with Back Pain, Neck Pain, Joint and Muscles Pain, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Whiplash, WorkPlace Injuries and list continues.

Throughout Parth’s career, he has gained his skills in various areas of Physiotherapy, specializing in Musculoskeletal, Orthopedics, Sports rehabilitation, Neurological conditions, Geriatric Conditions, etc.
Parth believes in adopting a patient-centered approach, tailoring each treatment plan to meet the unique needs and goals of every individual he works with.

Parth is a firm believer in ongoing education and stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in Physiotherapy field. He regularly attends workshops, conferences, and training programs to enhance his knowledge and skills, ensuring that his patients receive the most effective and evidence-based treatments available.

Parth’s approach to physiotherapy combines manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, therapeutic modalities, Shockwave therapy, Laser Therapy, Cupping Therapy and patient education. He is passionate about empowering his patients with the knowledge and tools they need to actively participate in their own recovery process, promoting long-term results and preventing future injuries.

Dr. Natalie Blake

Chiropractor

“Natalie has a strong passion for helping others do better and feel better. Growing up with an active lifestyle, she was involved in competitive sports from a young age. Nat was introduced to the restorative benefits of chiropractics in her early teens which played a paramount role in her recovery after a sports injury. The haste of her recovery and level of care she received sparked an interest in both exercise and healthcare as a vocation.

Natalie graduated from Western University in 2016 with a BA (Hons) Kinesiology – Specialization in Fitness & Exercise Prescription. She then moved to New Zealand in 2017 to pursue her chiropractic degree. Natalie began work as a sports chiropractor in Queenstown, NZ, including team chiropractor for the NZIHL SkyCity Stampede hockey team. After 5 years of living and working in New Zealand, Natalie has returned home to Ontario.

She has an interest in both training and treating athletes and teams of all dimensions. Her special interest lies in Olympic weightlifting, exercise, and hockey. Natalie also has a special interest in women’s health and performance, headaches/migraines/concussions, as well as sports injuries and rehabilitation.

Out of the clinic, Natalie can be found outdoors, or involved in anything active from hiking to weightlifting. Natalie looks forward to sharing her love of functional wellness and movement with her patients in Cambridge!

Laura Chau

BSC (HONS), REGISTERED KINESIOLOGIST

Laura is a pedorthist and kinesiologist with a specialty in biomechanics and lower limb/feet issues. She completed her post-grad Diploma in Pedorthics with Honours. She enjoys working with people of all fitness levels to reach their goals. Whether it’s to be able to walk pain free, recover from and prevent injury, or to increase endurance, Laura strives to help patients achieve their ideal active lifestyle. Laura has had more than 3 years of experience with biomechanical assessments and orthotic fabrication. She is also trained in footwear modifications and is knowledgeable about properties of good orthopedic shoes for different foot types.

Before her work in pedorthic care, Laura has worked as a kinesiologist, using exercise prescription to help with injury recovery and prevention. On a personal note, she is also a long-distance runner who has needed orthotics since childhood. She has personally experienced how important it is to maintain optimal foot health and alignment. Outside of the healthcare profession, Laura is an avid musician, pianist, and songwriter. She also loves road trips, camping, and long hikes with her husband and dog.

Dr. Kinjal Dave

BHMS, Ashtang Yoga Practitioner

Dr Kinjal Dave is a Homeopath and a Yoga Therapist. She treats Patients with a Holistic Approach. Kinjal is a trained Ashtanga Yoga and Yin Yoga Teacher. She has completed her education in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery and she has been serving the community for years now.

Dr. Kinjal affirms that Yoga therapy is a Mind-Body therapy, it connects people with their own healing potential, ensuring overall well being and healthy ageing of individuals. She initiates with understanding each client as a unique special individual. She assesses each client by identifying their root cause of suffering.  After that she designs customized therapy sessions with inclusion of Yoga Asana, Pranayama ( Breathing techniques) , Relaxation techniques & Meditation.

Dr. Kinjal with Holistic therapy has successfully helped numerous patients with Psychosomatic Diseases, Chronic or Persistent pain including Upper-Back Pain, Low-Back Pain, Headache, TMJ pain, Shoulder Pain, Hip Pain, Arthritis, Premenstrual Syndrome, Pelvic Pain and many more. She has helped many clients with Mental Health concerns like Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Insomnia. She has also helped people with Hormonal Issues like Thyroid Dysfunction, PCOS, Menopausal Syndrome, and Autoimmune Diseases.

Dr. Kinjal says you don’t need to be Sick or In pain for doing Yoga. Yoga brings balance to your life by nurturing Mind, Body and Soul. It is a step towards a stress free & Disease-free healthy lifestyle. In her session she makes sure you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished & balanced.

On a personal note Kinjal is a Kind, Spiritual, Jolly and nature loving person. She is also a trained classical Bharatnatyam dancer, loves gardening and doing adventure sports.

Andréia Romanenco

Massage Therapist Bio

Andréia graduated in Massage Therapy at Centennial College since 2021. Andréia has a vast experience as a Physiotherapist and Acupuncturist in Brazil since 2011. She has taken several courses in her home country which includes myofascial release and Pilates. Over the years she has helped numerous clients with Headaches, Migraines, Neck Pain, Whiplash, Lower Back Pain, Sciatica, Stress, Joint Pain, Body Pain, Muscle Knots, Myofascial Strain, Fibromyalgia, etc. Her passion is to HELP HEAL people INSIDE and OUT. With years of experience as Physiotherapist (Brazil), Acupuncturist(Brazil) and Massage Therapy she brings all the knowledge of different techniques on ONE Table. She has developed her unique style  to get the Best Therapeutic results to fit the client’s needs.
