What Is the Assistive Devices Program (ADP)?
The ADP is a government program for Ontario residents living with long-term physical disabilities. It helps cover the cost of customized mobility devices so you can maintain independence and live life to the fullest.
The program offers significant financial support, typically covering 75% of the cost of most mobility aids. If you receive Ontario Works or ODSP support, ADP can cover 100% of the cost. The program supports a wide range of devices including wheelchairs (manual & power), mobility scooters, walkers (adult & pediatric), positioning devices, and more.
